About IQAC

National Assessment and Accreditation Council

(NAAC)

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India. Its primary objective is to assess and accredit institutions of higher education to ensure quality and promote excellence in education.

Objectives of NAAC

1.Quality Assessment: NAAC evaluates the quality of academic and administrative processes in higher education institutions through a systematic assessment framework

2.Accreditation: Institutions that meet NAAC’s quality benchmarks receive accreditation, which signifies their commitment to quality education and continuous improvement.

3.Enhancing Standards: NAAC aims to foster a culture of quality assurance in higher education by providing guidelines and support for institutions to enhance their standards.

4.Promoting Accountability: By establishing a transparent and credible assessment process, NAAC encourages institutions to be accountable for their educational offerings and institutional governance.
