The college is situated in a rural area at Bundu about 40 kms. from Ranchi, the capital of the State. The surroundings of the college are spread with well-maintained gardens, buildings, hostels, computer centre and play ground. Believing in the holistic development of the students the college is keen to make available its best facilities.
The College library is rich enough to provide the students of the college an easy access to knowledge and information with a collection of more than 15,000 books. The subject wise list of books is given in the College Library link.
The laboratories of Geography, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Geology departments of the college are sufficiently equipped to provide knowledge to the students though emphasis on the experimental aspects of the subjects concerned.
The facilities are at par with similar institutions. Administrative works of the college are computerized. The computer centre with internet (broad band with static IP) facilities is open to all who want to smartly tune to the rapid changes in the modern world. The staff and students are encouraged to use the computer facilities in the centre at the college.
The college has reprographic facilities like printers, fax and Xerox machine for the works of the college.
With an aim to cultivate in students organized activities based on fair play, the Games and Sports Department of the college has been organizing various events of games and sports. The students of the college have been participating in the Inter-College Competitions and Inter-University Competitions. Some of the students of the college have won prizes in the competitions of Games and Sports.
Under the 11th Five Year Plan UGC has given its approval and grant to run the Remedial Coaching / Entry in Service Coaching and Career Counselling Cell in the college belonging to SC, ST, OBC categories. The aforesaid programmes of UGC are running smoothly in the college as the experts of the concerned subjects are invited to deliver lectures by which the students of the college are very much benefited. A Managing Committee at the college level has been constituted to the run the said UGC Programmes.
